We were only in town for a very short time and staying in the area. We had walked past several times and noted that it seemed like a nice spot to dine, but had been taking in all of the fun eateries by the pier. The last evening in town, our friend in the area was able to meet for dinner and booked us a table. I am not an expert, but I'm not a newbie either, just a person who enjoys good food. Let's just say that this was a treat and an excellent way to end our trip. Each course was delicious and I liked that our waitress would come and explain how to eat each set for the best taste (with soy sauce, without, etc) We left feeling satisfied in both the quality and amount of food and service.

Simply the best! If you are able to, try to experience the bar seating at least once. The chefs and food are amazing! One of the very few if not the only fine dining spot in Seattle that is 100% worth it. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing experience at Shiro's! We got the table side chef's choice sushi course for $85 dollars per person. Each piece was delicate and delicious, and came out at a reasonable pace. We also came in time for their 30th anniversary sashimi platter for $30 dollars! Well worth it. We would definitely come back to experience the sushi bar omakase. It was a treat watching the chefs' interact with the patrons there.

Best sushi I have had in the USA. The taste, the presentation and variety of fish was incredible. We did omakase for 4 people. Getting reservation was tricky plan way in advance, especially for a bigger group as they only have 8 spots at the counter. Our chefs were very entertaining and knowledgeable. I want to come back and try their regular course because it also looked very good. Highly recommended this place.

At risk of making reservations even harder to get... Excellent omakase experience. Both sushi and kitchen items were delicious. Fish was fresh, we'll curated, beautifully presented. Sean and crew behind sushi bar were informative, helpful, funny and made this a perfect dinner experience. Will try to visit whenever back in the area. Absolutely recommend for a fun dinner.

Had my first omakase experience here over 10 years ago at Shiro’s and have been back a handful of times in-between then and now. I've always had a great experience dining here from the customer service to the quality of fish they serve. I love the personal touch from dining at the bar and learning from the Chefs about the different fishes they serve from local or International waters. Recently went while some friends who were visiting Seattle from out of town, and we had the greatest time doing Shiro’s Omakase at the bar. I really enjoyed the green tea with sakura petals. I love that everytime I've been here, there are subtle changes to the experience. Highly recommend as always.

Probably the most approachable omakase you can in downtown Seattle. It was about 100$/person (including mandatory 20% service tip) and we were pretty full. These nigiri's made me reconsider all the other nigiri's I had in my life and made me realize i've only eaten garbage nigiri my entire life. Maybe I'm too new to omakase but that was life altering enlightenment to my taste buds. The service was amazing too! Server noticed the left handed people at the table and adjusted their presentation to accommodate us. They pay a lot of attention to details and have unmatched service.

Highly recommend the weekday happy hour (Monday–Thursday afternoon). The 19-piece omakase during happy hour is an excellent value for the quality. If you have an Amex Platinum, you can also use the Resy credit here, which is a nice bonus. I’ve been multiple times and the experience has been very consistent. The fish is always fresh, and the overall quality is reliable from visit to visit. A solid choice if you’re looking for high-quality omakase in Seattle without surprises.

I love this restaurant. In my opinion, Chefs Taro, Sean, Jose, and Yuto serve the best sushi in all of Seattle. The omakase bar is a must try experience. Be warned that you will probably never have better sushi anywhere else after it. They run it like a Michelin star restaurant, the attention to detail is next level. All of the staff are very kind and friendly, and they will ensure you have a great experience and are taken care of. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Enjoyed the dinner, the Chefs Choice 19 piece. It was $85 a person plus 20% gratuity. Also had the anniversary sashimi for an extra $30. Had a nice tea to accompany the meal. The service was great, the sushi was delicious. Everything was fresh and it was a fun and well timed experience. I’d do the happy hour next time instead or sit at the bar.
